Declan McGrath
PhD student in Pure Mathematics
King’s College London
I work in differential geometry, geometric analysis, and partial differential equations that arise in geometric settings — particularly Ricci-flat metrics and manifolds with special holonomy. My PhD is supervised by Dr Stephen Lynch.
Before King’s, I completed an MSc in Pure Mathematics at Imperial College London, where I wrote my thesis under the supervision of Prof. Simon Donaldson, and a BSc in Mathematics at UCL.
Research
I am currently interested in gravitational instantons: complete, non-compact, Ricci-flat four-manifolds.
My MSc thesis, Special Holonomy and Ricci-Flat Metrics, is on the notes page.
